To strengthen our Operations department, we are currently looking for an Apron Management Operator.

As an Apron Management Operator, you play a crucial role in the daily operations of the airport. As part of the Airport Operations Management team, you ensure optimal coordination between aircraft, passengers, and operational resources.

You continuously monitor airport capacity and make operational decisions that contribute to safe, efficient, and high-quality service delivery.

No two days are the same. You will work in a dynamic environment where you need to switch quickly, set priorities, and find solutions to unexpected situations.

What you will achieve with us:

Optimal stand- and gate allocation

• You create the planning of available stands, gates, and bussing resources.
• You continuously monitor and update this planning based on operational changes.
• You take into account available capacity, operational constraints, and safety requirements.
• You make real-time decisions to ensure optimal resource allocation.

Operational follow-up

• You monitor the execution of the planning and analyze deviations.
• You investigate the causes of operational disruptions and take appropriate action.
• You ensure smooth passenger flows and aircraft movements.

Coordination and communication

• You communicate with internal and external stakeholders such as airlines, ground handlers, Skeyes, and operational teams.
• You provide operational instructions and share relevant information in a timely and accurate manner.
• You support safe operations in line with applicable procedures and regulations.

Data management and systems

• You process, check, and update flight data in various operational systems.
• You support users of operational applications.
• You contribute to accurate and reliable data quality.

Winter Operations

• You support the preparation and execution of winter operations.
• You contribute to winter planning and support the coordination of winter vehicles when required.

Continuous improvement

• You identify opportunities to improve operational processes.
• You actively contribute to optimization projects.
• You share knowledge and expertise within the team to continuously improve operations.

What sets you apart:

Education and knowledge

• You hold a bachelor’s degree or have equivalent experience.
• You have a strong interest in aviation and airport operations.
• Knowledge of airport infrastructure, topography, and aircraft recognition is a strong asset.
• You are willing to follow the necessary training for a safety-critical role.

• You are analytical and enjoy making decisions.
• You maintain overview in a fast-changing environment.
• You are stress-resistant and remain calm under pressure.
• You work accurately and have a strong eye for detail.
• You communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
• You are a team player who takes ownership.

Languages

• You are fluent in Dutch and English.
• Knowledge of French is a plus.
