Brussels Airport is looking for a Commercial Lead, Travel Retail to define and accelerate the commercial direction of our retail partners. You connect vision with execution and ensure sustainable growth and a distinctive customer experience within the unique ecosystem of our airport.
Your mission
You develop and implement a powerful commercial vision & strategy for travel retail within Brussels Airport, fully aligned with the master plan, product matrix, and our customer promise. You monitor market trends and benchmarks inside and outside the aviation sector and translate insights into concrete growth opportunities.
What you will do
• Lead strategic projects: ultimate responsibility for scope, timing, and budget; ensure optimal alignment with other departments and foster cross-organizational collaboration.
• Team leadership & talent development: build a high-performing sales team, coach for top performance, and safeguard performance management and talent development according to BAC processes. Lead governance and facilitate collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Key account & performance management: build strategic partnerships with travel retail clients and suppliers, safeguard BAC’s commercial policy & vision, actively negotiate, and coach the team toward commercial objectives.
• Financial & contractual management: drive revenue growth and monitor costs (opex/capex). Analyze monthly results, prepare budget forecasts, monitor travel retail segment performance, and follow up on contracts and action plans until proper approval and signature.
